Due to general busyness and typical blog neglect, I haven't been able to post about significant events of late, but I thought that between now and when I'm able to write a detailed "report" on the subjects, I would write a short little blurb about what's coming soon!

A couple weeks ago, I took a vacation to Portland OR, and took about 500 pictures. Once I sort through the ones I'm going to post, there will be news of that.

Over the past few weeks I have also been embarking on a project to rebuild a guitar. Details on this will also follow.

Here are some recent pictures I took. I decided to upload them to picasa instead of my photos section because the uploader I'm using is rather clunky, and I'm probably going to overhaul it soon. Well, contrary to what the weather report was saying a few days ago, we managed to get a race night in yesterday. :-) Unfortunately, the weather report for today was looking so bleak that they canceled it before anything started. That gave me some time to get a few things done on Gandalf though, so things worked out. I ended up changing the oil, tranny fluid, and differential gear oil. Also rigged up a larger tranny cooler to work in series with the one it already had. Twas a day filled with grease.

The first ET race of the season at Bandimere Speedway is this friday, April 22nd. Woo hoo!
